Read the warnings below and decide whether you want to update your device or not.
– Before updating your phone backup entire data otherwise you will lose it. Update the phone at your own risk and we can’t be held responsible if something goes wrong or if the device gets bricked.
– Use Go Backup Pro or Super Backup to backup all the android apps, contact, sms and all data stored on your phone. If your device is rooted you can use Titanium Backup to backup all your data.
– After installing the Android update outside the country may create problems with phone’s network and the phone’s 2G or 3G network may not even work thereby disabling the phone to make any voice call.
– If you are going to update your device and your device is already rooted, you may lose you rooting but can root it again.
Follow these steps to update your Samsung Galaxy S Advance using Samsung Kies:
Note: You need a working internet connection during all these process.
Step-1: Open Kies in your PC and connect mobile with PC using usb cable. Wait for a minute it will take some time to get connected. If latest firmware is available for your device it will display in “Firmware Information” section. Click on firmware update button to start installation.
Step-2: It may show you a pop up windows to say that there is a new firmware is available for your device. hit on update button.
Step-3: Please read carefully all these information to avoid any damage or data lose. Accept the agreement by clicking on checkbox and hit “Stat Upgrade” button.
Step-4: You need at least 80% battery charged or it will show you low battery error and you can not continue further. Please charge you mobile at least 80% and repeat all these steps again from “Step-1”.
Step-5: It will take some time. so please sit back and enjoy the show. Once it completed it will show you success message, now you can remove usb cable and restart your device. enjoy Official Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
